My daughter, 7, attended Brierwood Child Care from Toddler I through Kinder-Readiness and she now spends
her summers at Brierwood's Summer Camp with her new friends and some friends that she has known for as long
as she can remember. My son, 2, joined the infant room when he was 8 weeks old and I didn't consider placing
him in the care of someone else. Over the years, the directors and teachers have lovingly eased me through the
heartaches, and celebrated the joys of being a working mom. They have shared each milestone and accomplishment
that my children have reached and I never felt that I had missed out on anything. They have supported every
parenting technique I have chosen, and offered me the wealth of their experience when I was caught dumb by a new
phase of my toddler. Within my children, they have instilled a sense of community, the joy of sharing, enormous
creativity, rich self esteem, and........table manners! I have never questioned the safety or security of my children
while they are in the care of Brierwood or at Brierwood Summer Camp. (I realize this now, as the mother of a boy,)
My gratitude will probably never be fully comprehended by the people who have shared my children's days.
Hopefully, this little testimonial will help them understand how important they are, and what an incredible job they

Like so many new parents, we were apprehensive about entrusting our baby to a "day care center". We had heard
the "horror" stories and had no personal experience upon which to draw. However, we can sincerely report that
Brierwood Child Care Center has convinced us that daycare center can be a wonderful experience for a child. Since
our twelve-month-old daughter started at Brierwood, the following 2 1/2 years have provided her with continuing
opportunities for physical,emotional and social development. She has had many caring, friendly and well-trained
teachers and has developed a network of friends. The classes provide the appropriate amount of structure to the
school day, based on age and ability. We consider ourselves to be good parents, but we doubt that we could have
provided our daughter with as much developmental stimulation as she has received at Brierwood - even if one of us
